I loved everything about this film. The themes of brotherhood, masculinity, vulnerability, and the exploration of the shadow self were just exquisite. Also loved seeing anime references made all throughout. It’s clear that while directing, MBJ was repping for the members of our community who are cast out for not moving through the lens of our stereotypes. And even still, he didn’t shy away from our tropes. 5 stars🌟
