Darth Vader. Simply just because of his force power maul could not even move I would say. In pure light saber combat I still think Vader would have won but it would probably be closer than lot of people expect

I would go with Maul . Keep in mind that he was a assassin . Darth Vader was the Emperor right-hand man . His attacks was more surgical and precise .

Vader and I don’t think it would be close. I imagine Maul doing a huge onslaught while Vader plays defense and feels him out and mid to late fight he completely shatters Mauls confidence with his skill. While I wouldn’t put Vader in yoda or Palpatine levels in terms of lightsaber skill he is VERY high tier A class and will blitz mostly everyone unless they’re coming with extraordinary abilities. Maul has great physical attributes and is extremely skilled but his force powers are FAR too underdeveloped to be getting into a fight like this. He’d better hope Vader is amused and keeps it light sabers only because if he uses the force I’m not sure how long his own force shield would even hold up from getting him force choked. Vader is a perfect hybrid of both Prime Anakin and Count Dooku in the way he fights. He will play mental warfare and remain laser focused and when he finds a weak point he’s going to strike it with aggressive and deadly force and zero wasted energy

Both in they’re prime that’s closer than I think most realize maul bested on of the orders best at the time with limited with training as only an assassin with the darth title if he we never injured and was trian fully maul would be a big problem for Vader. But as it stands now Vader wins with some scars and burns definitely

Vader is the greatest duelist in force history, surpassing that of even yoda and palpatine. His force power was only second to Palpatine, and that was by a small margin, while Palpatine is the most powerful sith in history. The only way to make this fight fair is to take away vader's light saber and have his back turned before the fight starts.

To be fair here this is an unfair fight either way. Maul was never actually trained to reach his true potential by any means, while Vader wasn't either by Sidious or the Jedi however he was able to push further towards his true potential
