This weekend marks a very big anniversary! On August 23rd, 1991 the Super NES debuted in America! It makes those purple YXBA's 34 years old!! I did not get one on the first day, but I do recall in those offline days of yore realizing it was "out," asking about it at the counter and being told, "We got 3 last week. They were gone in 15 minutes. We don't know when we will get more." Those first sets came with Super Mario World, a game so indemand you might look at it as paying $200 to get the game, and the SNES was just thrown in for free. Whatever your experience was, why not share it here? And enjoy the story of Super Mario World, which includes a lot of the story that led to the SNES as well.
