I'm really good at making friends with people and inadvertently helping them out. So on Tuesday when I was helping with a church thingy (The Living Christ Easter Celebration. Apparently it was a rare opportunity and not many stakes get to do it. My stake was chosen) I ended up making a new friend with someone who just got off her mission. She and her family (who I'm good friends with) had just moved to my town right before she left for her mission, so she didn't have any friends here. I was the first friend she made here. During the night, a friend was playing the flute as a mini performance. I didn't know that she was insecure about her playing ability, but I had asked for her to play one of the pieces again because I really love that piece. And so I made my friend feel way better

This Easter season, I'm showing my love for Jesus Christ by striving to live a life that reflects His teachings of love, compassion, and service. This includes actively seeking opportunities to serve others, regardless of their background or beliefs, and extending kindness and understanding to all I encounter. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I find strength and inspiration in the Savior's message of inclusivity and acceptance, and I strive to embody these principles in my daily interactions. My faith teaches me that true love is selfless and unconditional, and I hope to demonstrate that love in my actions and attitudes this Easter and throughout the year.
