Sad to hear the Signalis teaser isn't as big a draw as you thought. It looked like a cool idea, with the cinematic showing some perception alterations that the Doctor would be salivating over if his mouth wasn't completely dry by now. I nearly ran ManlyBadassHero's let's play right after. Whatever you come up with, we'll be excited to see it, whatever it is.

I was actually invested in the Signalis trailer. And it actually got me into Signalis. Its a shame that it got canned for now. But when it releases, i can not wait to see how Elster and Falke are implemented into dbds formula.

Man I don't wanna trash the decision, especially since it's one that makes sense due to how nieche it is. But I was so incredibly excited for the Signalis spotlight. It's very disappointing and almost soul crushing to hear it's been put on the back burner personally :( I hope you guys are still willing to do it at some point and it isn't forgotten. And I feel like most of the people in this comment section are judging the game without having played it. Signalis and DbD fit so well together due to their similar themes and just the pure potential the game. I hope we'll at least get it on Wheat's website soon. But I get it if we don't. Still excited for outlast.

I was hoping for Hotline Miami or Bioshock, but Outlast is fine too. Now i hope its gonna be Eddie Gluskin then for Outlast Concept. P.S. I just look at results... Damn, that was so close...

People in the comment section will say Signalis isn’t a horror game and then turn around ask for bendy and poppy playtime Anyone who has played Signalis will tell you it’s a fantastic survival horror game with a great story, amazing atmosphere and gameplay. Such utter bullshit

Hyped for the Outlast video. It's a shame the signalis didn't do so well, I thought the cinematic way it was done was great. It also made me think about how cool it would be if there was a dbd miniseries for each killer adding more lore and life to the killers and survivors we play.

I didn't know about this poll, a game I wanted to see on DBD was "clock tower", like "Scissors Man" as killer and Jennifer Simpson as Surv, but I realize that people don't know this game very well, but it has a lot of things similar to DBD

Poll Results + Important Info About Signalis Concept
Hello, everyone!

The development of this poll has been very interesting to observe. For the first few days, Hotline Miami absolutely trumped all the other options by dozens of votes, with Original Chapter being a close second. However, Outlast would very gradually catch up to it, beating it by a couple dozen votes. Following the release of our latest teaser, the poll had received an additional spike in votes, most of which went to Hotline Miami, making it just THREE votes away from winning.
And with all that being said, the winner of the poll is... Outlast! It's not a totally surprising choice, though I personally was pretty convinced something like Terminator would take the cake, or that there would be more demand for a Predator Spotlight. Regardless, we have actually already started some very early planning for Outlast, and while thinking of a good killer and power was very difficult, we managed to come up with something that I think is actually extremely unique, and should make both fans and non-fans happy.
Now for the other, less fun part of this post. Our latest teaser trailer for Signalis hasn't been doing well. In fact, it is the worst performing concept thus far by a very significant margin, having below average views for this channel, which is a first for a DBD concept video. While I very much expected the teaser to not perform as well as some of the other videos given the lower popularity of the game, I did not expect a difference this extreme, and hoped that the new cinematic format would bring more people in.
Because of this, I have made the decision for the team to not pursue the concept at this time. This doesn't mean it's cancelled entirely, however we will instead be prioritizing the winner of the poll, Outlast, as I believe it is a more worthwhile project. This means that a Spotlight for Signalis will come out at a much later date, either some time after the Outlast concept or after my own personal concept(s) that I would make once WheatDraws, one of DBDCCT's core members, had made his previously announced departure.
