Since you do requests Do one on how thomas the tank engine caused the sinking of RMS Lusitania (Credit to Oh, Heck.) Thomas is responsible for sinking the Lusitania. You see, Lusitania was sunk in 1915, the same year Thomas was canonically built. According to the IOS book, Thomas got lost and ended up on Sodor. During this time in which he was lost, the cheeky little engine wanted to play some tricks, and gave Captain Walther Schwieger of the German submarine U-20 the position of the RMS Lusitania. And so Lusitania was sunk, claiming 1,198 victims and spurred anti-German attitudes in the then-neutral United States. And it wouldn't have happened if not for Thomas. Thomas was later reprimanded for betraying his country and "causing confusion and delay", and was forbidden from pulling trains until the Cunard Line replaced Lusitania with the RMS Berengaria in 1921. (He Wrote this out) IOS= Island of Sodor
