Liminal spaces and the backrooms concept relates to some profound problems of this era. Thanks for your work Kane. Your cerebral and suggestive style captures a haunting and isolated feeling i think that touches on something subtle but relevant to many today. Keep it real, keep up the good work!

Okay… so taking this video into consideration, I’ve finally got some semblance of an idea as to what the backrooms is. It’s the physical representation of Murphy’s law, anything that can happen will happen. For instance, Async was purposely searching for some kind of infinite pocket dimension in hopes of making profit but that statement alone has countless plot holes which allows an infinite amount of possibility to occur within. Just like it is mathematically impossible for life to not exist in space, it is the same thing with the backrooms… however it is somehow linked with the conception of human existence. The people who kept “no clipping” into the backrooms were all desperately seeking out something whether it be an exit or even another person. The backrooms has no concept for what these things are supposed to look like exactly so it just makes up what it can, examples being the exit signs that are rendered in occasionally and the creatures that end up chasing the protagonist of that specific video. It’s not inherently evil in the least or intentionally terrifying… the backrooms simply does exist because it can exist in that reality thanks to the meddling of some dangerously curious people. Murphy’s law.
