Hamantaschen! And Iβve been searching the grocery stores in my town all week-NOBODY here seems to be selling them! π€¬ I burst out laughing at work when I saw Mr. T and Soo Per Mhann as two of the options! Thank the gods I was in the break room at the time

I am playing Mordechai in our Purim shpiel! And I tried my first hamantaschen tonight. So grateful that our temple gifted us a Purim box even though we are new and not members yet.

The special foods we eat on Purim are the eye of Haman (Challah bread with a boiled egg for the eye in the center) and either the hat of Haman or the ears of Haman or both. Sedfaric Jews will eat cookies shaped as Haman's hat and Askenazi will eat cookies shaped as the ears.

Chag Purim Sameach! I hope that my Jewish friends know that despite this sickening rise in Antisemitism, they also have many supporters.

I was going to quote Esther and say βlet them eat cake β but cookies are awesome too. Are they still kosher when served with a glass of milk?
