I never bought a new car and don't wish to.. As time goes by new cars just get worse especially in design. I often wonder what drugs the designers are on or if they are in competition to design the ugliest car.

Yes. I’m in Texas and I own a 2025 Toyota Tundra 4x4 truck and my wife has a 2024 Ford Expedition Max 4x4 SUV. Paid cash for both and plan on keeping them for 10 years each.

Yes sir! 17 years, like new, low mileage, one careful owner. Hurry up, they don't make them like it anymore.

I still have my 1994 Ford Escort station wagon that was given to me in 2000 by an elderly friend. I've taken good care of it and it still runs good. It's got a few rust spots, but it has crank-up windows and simple electrical components that have been inexpensive to maintain and repair, so why would I waste a ton of money on a new car.

I have, but use extremely rare, once time per few months, prefer taxi. Car is too complicated: you need to find place for parking, you can’t left it because you need to return for it, etc. Pointless thing in city. Not even sure why I still have it.

Three. The last one is four years old now. The older two were sold when they were becoming liabilities rather than assets .

Well, it's old now, but I bought it new 10 years ago. A 2016 (bought on 2015) Honda HRV (small SUV). It still looks brand new. Can't go wrong with a Honda. Where I live there is no public transportation in the area. You need a car. I have a C/D player in the car. New cars don't. The car I had before I also bought new. It was a Toyota Corolla. Great car.

Dont need a car here Dont want one I feel more free being able to go places on foot and look at the world than being teleported in an isolating metal box from set dressing to set dressing.

Mine is a year old . I have had four cars, three were new. My first car I drove for 15 years until it needed repairs that cost more than it was worth, then i car shared with my parents and traded that in again when it was around 15 years, bought a third car and decided to trade it in last year after 15 years while it was still worth something and now at 70 I treated myself to a new car with all the bells and whistles... camera, moon roof, heated seats. It should last me until I die, hopefully

Only lease cars in my life were brandnew. When I pay for it, it is either a used car or it is very vintage. As in: older than myself.
