Harbor Freight is getting a lot of my attention these days. Mostly hand tools (I already have all the drills, drivers, saws, etc I need!). Ratchets, wrenches, screwdrivers and the like. I think if I were in need of a new drill or driver, I’d definitely look at the Hercules line. Otherwise, it’s mostly Lowe’s because they’re relatively close to me.

It depends on what I am shopping for. In the old days Sears was at the top of the list. My large machines were purchased through Rockler. Most small power tools were bought through Home Depot. Now I am filling in the cracks with more boutique tools from Woodpeckers, Lee Valley. Consumables come from Home Depot and Amazon.

Depends on the tool. I have most of the more common tools available at HD and Lowe’s. I turn more and more to Amazon and other online retailers. I probably buy as much from Harbor Freight as anyone since I feel like HF has upped their game on quality and selection in recent years.

Been using Beaver Industrial Supply the last few months. Recently purchased the updated CT26 and wanted to split the purchase between a debit gift card and credit card. Super helpful on the phone and had no problems. Bonus they ship UPS who I prefer.

My power tools are mostly Dewalt purchased at Home Depot. My hand tools are mainly Icon from Harbor Freight. Specialty tools are ordered from the manufacturer or an authorized distributor.

I've bought power tools and hand tools from HD, HF, and Lowes in about equal amounts (without checking receipts). I've occasionally bought a tool through Amazon, but I try to be careful about it because I've gotten used tools (and other things) that were supposed to be new. I guess I don't have a lot of brand loyalty. It's about what I need and where I can get it when I need it.

I usually find the best deals on Amazon but it depends a lot on what it is and when I'm in the market for it. Sometimes even Woot will have deals on things, so I'll check there nearly everyday. For immediate needs, Lowe's is closest to me. I'd like to venture to the lumber store for stock but many won't deal with diy'ers.

Harbor Freight, not only do they have the best deals, but their quality has increased over the years. I'm not a professional so I don't need the absolute best.

I get a military discount at Home Depot but lately I've been getting stuff from Amazon as well. Home Depot has some great 2-3 day flash sales where you can get 50 to 60% off if you're diligent.
