WWE probably wouldn't do it if the roles were reversed just being honest. But the thing is, it’s not WWE requesting Sting; it’s Lex Luger who wants Sting to induct him. Honestly, I don’t think WWE really cares who does the induction.

If the roles where reversed you know Triple H would say no

Lex is the one who winds up getting screwed, but AEW should absolutely not allow it. It’s the principle. They constantly run shows around AEW’s local schedule, and the last time AEW sent Billy Gunn there, HHH called it a piss-ant company live on TV. Lex should have his moment but not at the expense of AEW’s pride

so after Billy Gunn, the people in documentary appearances, and then this, at what point does AEW get anything in return? it’s so hilarious how the double standard for The Fed exists when they’ve booked 8 shows against AEW’s 1 in the UK in August, but no AEW should do a thing for The Fed when they wouldn’t even let Luger be a part of Sting’s retirement. the hypocrisy is beyond parody at this point.

You counter program Double or Nothing, All In and Forbidden Door, you are the enemy. WWE made this perfectly clear they’re attempting to be a monopoly. You do not let sting induct Lex. (Although he’s allowed to be there.)

I didn't think for a second AEW wouldn't do it because of how much they respect Sting, but I have doubts that WWE would even ask. They didn't let Angle or Lawler have their choices and they weren't even at war with anyone at the time.

If Sting wants to do it and Tony says no, He's "screwing over" Sting and Luger not WWE.

Would wwe do it? Of course not. Tony gets nothing for being the nice guy in this situation.

Probably but let's not forget they didn't let Billy Gunn get inducted when DX actually went in the HOF and this would just be a speech

Reminder: none of ya’ll work for WWE or AEW. Their “business” is not your problem. There’s no good reason why any fan should be against Sting being there for his old friend.

Would WWE allow any of their talent to appear on AEW TV? This is of course a rhetorical question that answers this presumably rhetorical poll.

No. WWE wouldn't let AEW use footage for Sting's last match but now WWE wants to use actual Sting?

Sting and lex luger were an iconic team in wcw, and a lot of people see aew as the modern day WCW, so I think it should happen

No one in the world thinks of Sting as an AEW wrestler, he's a WCW Icon. It does no one any business positive or negative if Sting goes to the show but it makes Lex feel good and it makes Tony look like someone who's not a prick

I think this is bigger than the promotions, it is about pro wrestling!!!

If it were a legit HOF, they certainly would and should allow him to appear, but it's not.

It would be nice if Sting could be there for Lex, but y'all are being silly if you don't think this is about business. As long as WWE is selling tickets to their fake HOF and making money of it, its business.

I personally believe to not be who you hate. WWE would not even allow Lex to be shown in String's last match, they wouldn't ever let Bret present the Owen winner with their prizes or even allow Baley to be shown when Mercedes debuted, heck WWE also did contract tampering so while WWE deserves no good faith I do think Sting and Lex deserve this moment.

Absolutely not it’s not like WWE will allow one of their wrestlers to go induct somebody into the AEW Hall of Fame 🤦
