I hope we get a video of your experience and what went right and what could be better as far as your setup.

I miss snow. Used to live in Mass but moved to southern France. I was in Massachusetts in 98 when they had that huge storm that dumped like 2 feet in 24hrs.

I always felt it's kind of satisfying to see your preparations actually work out when things like this happen. Makes the work and the investment worthwhile. Suddenly even skeptical family members are quite happy to be warm, have some appliances online, and have the lights stay on.

Wow! Only 24" here in north central MA... We love getting snowed in, teaching our boys how to be prepared and enjoying the scenery ❄️

Oh wow yea that nor'easter!! Crazy how some areas didn't get hit much but were supposed to and some places it snowed later than expected. Weather folk didn't get this quite right for everybody. Lots of outages over a few states. Glad you and family are all good with the generator running!!

You should put your generator hookup in a detached building so your generator will be under cover and not in the weather. If it’s a detached building no threat of carbon monoxide poisoning. My hookup is this way and I can have it running in bad thunderstorms with no worries of the rain messing with it. Be safe, be smart and good luck to you and your family. Hoping the storm passes without harm to you guys. 🙏

Here in Fitzwilliam NH, been on generator for almost 20 hours 28" of snow. This house has two breaker panels. A 100 amp breaker on the mainpanel runs to power a second panel for the second floor. You had a video about units that could be charged up and provide backup power..that was good information because that could be a solution to power the second floor without need for a bigger generator and transfer switch and could run from inside the house.

I opened one of our yards up in Webster NH a few years back and they had crazy snow/ice issues we ended up moving them to Candia. Still getting snow but at least they are open year round

Wow, that is incredible amount of snow. At least you are prepared. Hopefully you come out with a video on how that generator has worked out in the storm

Hope you and the Family are doing well. We only had 24" here in Central Massachusetts but with the rain is was heavy. So heavy that a tree fell and landed on my shed and did damage to my wood fence. We are all safe and never lost power though.

New Hampshire has got it bad, back here in Massachusetts there is rain and snow but what I am worried about if the temperature drops below freezing there will be nothing but solid ice, conditions will be potentially dangerous until later this week when temperatures are supposed to go up to 50 degrees or higher.

If you look really close there is a generator in these pictures! We have gotten almost 4 feet of snow in New Hampshire. This is insane! Power has been out since 5:30am & we are getting 2"+ of snow per hour. I am very glad I changed the oil in the generator a few weeks ago. I think we will be on it for at least 4 days. If you are experiencing any of this I hope you are OK for those of you in warm climates, enjoy it! More videos coming later this week and this weekend too. Take care - Chris
