I’d like to share why I believe in Christianity so maybe someone could believe too. Majority of historians, even some atheists, believe that Jesus was real. He had more writings preserved than the ruler of Rome and even one of the writings outside of the Bible mention about the miracles Jesus did. Also, it’s more likely to believe that these miracles are true because the majority of historians believe that Jesus was crucified. If all the things that happened before crucifixion were false it wouldn’t make much sense for someone to waste their whole life to share something they know is false and then go to the point where they’d die because of it. Also, despite the Bible being written by many different people, separated by many years, it still has a cohesive story that points to the coming of Jesus. Isaiah 53 is right on point to the life Jesus lived, Numbers 24:17 talks about Jesus coming from the line of Jacob, Micah 5:2 talks about Jesus being born in Bethlehem, and apparently a common understanding is that there are at least 300 prophecies in the Old Testament that are said to be fulfilled by Jesus. Here’s a website that supports this https://www.clintbyars.com/blog/2020/7/20/jesus-fulfilled-over-300-prophecies. If this convinces you just know that all that it takes to be saved is to believe in Jesus. This is further explained in Romans 4:22-25 KJV "And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.". Believing in Jesus for salvation is supported in Acts 16:29-32 where it says “The jailer called for lights and ran to the dungeon and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. Then he brought them out and asked, ‘Sir, what must I do to be saved?’ They replied, ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.’ And they shared the word of the Lord with him and with all who lived in his household.”. If you’d like another example, in Luke 23:39-43 it says “One of the criminals hanging beside him scoffed, ‘So you’re the Messiah, are you? Prove it by saving yourself-and us, too, while you’re at it!’ But the other criminal protested, ‘Don’t you fear God even when you have been sentenced to die? We deserve to die for our crimes, but this man hasn’t done anything wrong.’ Then he said, ‘Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.” And Jesus replied, “I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.’”. I share this because there’s a lot of people who say you have to work to keep your salvation or prove that you’re saved but that’s proven wrong in Ephesians 4:30 and Romans 11:6. If you have any questions please share them and if not I hope this was helpful. Also, I’m sorry if this message came across as condescending. That wasn’t my goal, I just wanted to help
