I feel like the reason BTS was selected is because it's true.. And it has nothing to do with them being better, but BTS is from an Asain country.. Asia, aka the biggest continent.. so their music reaches Asia, PLUS many people in other continents love and listen to them

The disrespect to spice girls is crazy the were world famous and the biggest girl band in history as much as i dont like one direction they became mega stars because of the young age group they played for BTS and other Asian pop groups are only big in that region
