I agree. When I manage to get first I feel like it's a lot more a matter of luck than in MK8D. It's like "oh well, I managed to hold this golden shroom... well, guess I won"

I say the same due to the vr system only reaching 9999, and how hard it gets when you get closer to that pretty early on. Wish it was like MK8 in which you had to grind your way up there, without much fear of losing those points until much later.
