Happens to me all the time when I try to do it on the YouTube app on my phone. If you did it the same way, I recommend going on YouTube studio browser version, usually works for me with that :3

Idk, it works fine for me 😭 Did you try to close yt and open it again and try to change it? (turn it off and turn it back on again) Maybe try on another device

Youtube's quite the glitchy app. Twenty years & still going, but the damn developers can't do their job. They would rather prioritize this "age verification" than actually fix the bugs in their site! Funnily enough, their verification system is super-easy to defeat!
