Does anyone else think the membership pricing is a bit high? There's a video I want to watch that's been on the channel for 2 weeks now if not a little more, and to watch it I still have to pay for diamond membership that's $25. It would be one thing if as time goes on it unlocks on each level of the membership and gets cheaper, but it seems like the only options are wait what seems like a month to watch something or pay $25. I know everyone is probably going to tell me I'm dumb or be upset I even made this comment. I love Sorta Stupid but I'm a single parent and I'm already paying for other services and $25 is just hard, you know? Anyway, I expect this comment to get down voted into oblivion

Says something about my life when the highlight of my week is watching two guys whose names I don’t even know sitting on a couch reacting to a show I’ve seen a hundred times and that I’ve seen “reacted to” a hundred times. And mildly put off that I’ll no longer get it weekly! What am I supposed to do on the toilet now?! Read?! 🤔

I’m a big fan of the long format content but just something to keep in mind- the rewatch value is different, so for none paying subscribers who see the content they subscribed for way less frequently (specific series) it can feel like you’ve just stopped making content for them. I’ve seen a few channels take a hit in subscribers and the algorithm because of it. They usually wind up dropping seasons in pt1 and pt2 so they get two drops per month instead of one.

I do enjoy the weekly releases but if the binge/long format is something you guys are comfortable and want to do that's your call and right as the channel. I'll miss the weekly uploads but will just look forward to the longer videos :)

Game of Thrones reactions will be switching to a binge format going forward to match the release style of all of our other videos. The reactions will continue to release weekly to our Patreon and YouTube Members on sortastupid.net. Also for our YouTube Members the episodes will still be edited in a YouTube safe format and we will upload them as soon as they’re done. To be clear, this isn’t a Thrones specific change. Most TV series reactions will be released in a binge format, except for specific instances.
