I am making a similar project, with puff flowers that are join as you go (and my beau is helping me by rolling an 8 sided die to help pick the colours) I'm a newbie at crochet, this is currently about my skill level, but I'm not going to lie, I'm a teensy bit frustrated with it because it is taking forever, but it does look pretty cool :)

January is coming to a close and if you are a hooky hero, chances are you are working on your yearlong blossom affirmations blanket too.
How did you do?
I am caught up (minus today) and loving the process. For the inner circles, I started with different "cool" colors, meaning cool blues and greens. But it was looking too busy. So I opted to go back to just green to represent the leaves between the flowers. I might change my mind again, I don't know. 😆
For the first day of the month, I'm going to use a cream color - that way, I'll be able to see the separation of months a little more easily since I am not doing a mood blanket.
Just telling you all this, in case you are curious about how I'm going about mine.
After this post, I'll share the monthly affirmations for February on the members side.
