i am literally so happy to say that skz finally got their daesang (after 7 years of waiting!!) for karma at the mama awards today, and i'm so proud of them <3 (a daesang is the award of the highest level) i've only been a stay for 5 and a half months at this point, but i've never felt more a part of a fandom than this one. while i missed many albums i now wish i could've been there for (especially ATE) the ones that i have been here for- hollow, karma, and do it- have been truly amazing and life changing to listen to, and discovering their older songs for the first time continues to amaze me! their constant jokes, kindness, and happiness despite the pain and difficulties of being a kpop idol is what makes them so amazing. you many be wondering why i feel so happy for 8 strangers, but to me, they're truly wonderful people, and have sacrificed so much to be where they are today. chan (the leader) left all he knew in australia to come to korea when he was THIRTEEN years old, and debuted much later- and all the other members gave up their past life in order to come together as stray kids <3 all in all, they rlly deserved this award, and their speeches were so heartfelt and beautiful to listen to. GO STRAY KIDS!! <3 also, before i forget, congrats to enhypen for getting the daesang yesterday for the fan pick award, and congrats to every group who won an award either yesterday or today! <3 also if u made it this far, new edit coming this week! <3 #straykids#youmakestraykidsstay
