I adopted Genevieve (Titi) at my wits end at the start of the pandemic, I knew I wanted an older cat and she was essentially the first cat I saw when I walked in. She immediately stomped out to greet me, a stiff little grease ball with the baddest brows and whiskers I’d ever seen - obviously I scooped her up. Best $25 I’ve ever spent. Gen has been a constant for 5 of the 6 years I’ve lived in LA. She was the perfect co-host, always dressed in her very finest and kind to every person and animal that walked through the door. I still think Lucille was the best thing that ever happened to her. When I brought Lucille home my dream was that one day they would cuddle, 6 months later it happened and Gen never stopped following her around from that day forward. I’m so grateful to have had this time with sweet Gen, no amount would have been enough. Thank you to those of you who loved her right along with me. I love you, Titi, I hope you have bottomless canned food and lots of sun wherever you might be <3
A lot of people think adopting a senior pet isn’t worth the heartbreak/ limited time but I can assure you it is - and then some💚 thank you @bestfriendsanimalsociety for helping us find each other
I won't be publishing tomorrow, this week's video will be up Saturday (it was filmed before her passing so it might feel strange that it isn't brought up, just wanted to let you know why <3 )
