Happy 4th! This is late ofc, but I just wanted to say how much of a joy this channel has been for me. I needed this quote a lot, currently in hs (yikes) and had a rough breakup with someone I’d been with for a bit, we’re in band together and honestly, I thought of quitting. But it means to much to me to let some boy ruin it for me, thank you for putting this out there bc I really needed to hear it. Me and my family went all out this 4th of July even though we all hate what’s going on in the US rn. We focused on hope for what can come and pride in fighting to keep our freedom. I wore red white and blue with pride pins.

things are tense and difficult right now. with everything that’s happening it’s easy to feel helpless and hopeless, but that is exactly what they want you to feel. the refusal to allow them to take away your hope and your happiness is inherently a rebellion against them. happy fourth of july.
