I want Knoebels to buy it cheap and rename it Knoebel Ka! It would fit between the parking lot and the tree line. Also 2026 is their 100 year anniversary!

If this is true whoever making that decision should be fired 🔥 this is my favorite ride at Six Flags Great Adventure and is pretty much a landmark at that park just because Top Thrill 2 isn’t working out don’t be jealous and take it out on Kingda Ka if that’s true whoever making that decision should be fired

I’ve heard costs are much higher per season. It would be a shame to remove such an important ride, but I ultimately I get it. Close down all of the Golden Kingdom and focus on improving other areas like The Boardwalk, until you can come back to that area and do something meaningful with it. Whatever is built these days better run in all four seasons (Spring Break thru Christmas), and be focused on reliability, IMO.

This is definitely false. Though kingda ka will loose its WORLD record, it will still remain as the tallest in the US. Also, kingda ka is heavily used as marketing for the park because of its popularity. It’s one of the biggest reasons Six Flags Great Adventure is as popular as it today. Zumanjaro on the other hand is not very popular. There are little times that it has a long line. The park can easily survive without it. I’ve heard that green lantern and twister will be removed by the end of the 2024 season. I also think the removal of green lantern is false. Green lantern isn’t the most popular coaster there because of its comfort issues, but I really do not see it being removed in the near future. Twister is a very fun ride, but I do not think it has much longer. It has been very dead this season. It also has pretty bad reliability issues. As much as I want it to stay at the park, I just do not think it remain much longer. Let’s say the park had to either remove kingda ka or give it the top thrill treatment, I would choose the top thrill treatment any day. Like a said before, the ride is too much of an icon for the park to remove entirely. The only problem with this is that the park’s electrical grid would not be able to handle an TT2 style transformation. This would require a huge grid upgrade. If the park decided to transform kingda ka like TT2, it probably would take a long time to do this. All in all, leave everything as is. If anything, do something to Superman. (I do not feel like editing anything)

Kingda Ka bring removed? Yeah right. That ride is more reliable than Top Thrill Dragster ever was. I bet Top Thrill 2 will close before this ever does, and I'm hopeful that it's not going anywhere either.

I think I might be the only one that doesn’t care. Ka is just boring to me. Shoots you up and then back down and it’s over in two seconds. It’s good to go on because it’s a record setter but I don’t need to go on it every time

The Coaster Spot
Since I don’t have time to make a video about the Kingda Ka rumors…. I’ve heard about them for about 2 months now from some trusted sources.
*2025 will be the last season
*Cedar Fair merger is the cause they don’t want another one
*1M+ Annual Operational Cost
*Not sure if a renovation was ever considered, but it isn’t anymore & it will be scraped along with Zumanjaro
*The 400 Launched Mack Spinner is likely
I don’t want to see it go but all of it make sense and it loses its record next year so they kind of have an out finally
The proposed layout for Kings Island at 200 feet seemed really dumb to me but at 400 feet that could be absolutely insane. Possibly a better ride overall and worthy replacement if it has a dual station and decent capacity. Go ride as much as you can, I have…. I hope what I’ve been told is wrong and is reconsidered if true.
