"The Black Saint & The Sinner Lady" is just so unique and just hits different. My soul is wrenching itself, but in a good way when I put it on

I do love Kind of Blue but when I need Jazz it’s Charles Mingus. I also maybe have the controversial take of preferring In a Silent Way by Miles Davis to Kind of Blue.

Love Brubeck and crazy time signatures. Blue Rondo a la Turk is a masterpiece. Joe Morello is a great, great drummer.

Actually, it's "A Charlie Brown Christmas" by the Vince Guaraldi Trio. Not because it's a great Jazz album, but because it introduced a whole generation and its descendants to the world of jazz that otherwise wouldn't have ever sought it out.

Each is a masterpiece in its own respect, but A Love Supreme is more than music. It is subliminal and uplifting as no other jazz work is. I would add that Giant Steps is another Coltrane masterpiece that should be in this list as well as Mingus, Ah Um. One more noteworthy classic that belongs here is Bill Evans, Sunday at the Village Vanguard.

Blue train, I’ve recently been listening to jazz and it’s probably my favorite record

Mingus Ah Um should’ve been the album to represent Mingus here. It’s his masterpiece IMO

A Love Supreme is a record I can listen to a million times and discover new things I didn't hear before each time.

Miles Davis, Coltrane, Take 5. That music just takes you to a better place. Have to admit I don't know Mingus but I'll see to that I will

Not saying it’s the greatest, but Sentimental Journey by Ringo Starr definitely deserves a mention

All tough picks but if I were to chose probably Kind Of Blue it's a classic another Davis classic is Bitches Brew but it sounds a lot different compared to his other stuff and not for everyone which is fine but there's no Herbie Hancock or Bill Evans it's fine but at least on album by either them
