As a Blonde I can tell you that Barbie gave me a lot of insecurities as a child, I was a little girl that aspired to „be perfect like her” (that’s what I was thinking back then). It’s no good wether you dark hair and eyes or have blue eyes and blonde hair.

I love this! Brought out the inner child girl in me. I momentarily realized how MUCH I loved playing Barbie. Was my own little world. Totally independant from the Adult world. This was my world! 🌎 im almost excited to be an adult now.

Growing up, I actually HATED Barbies! She was an echo of everything I wasn't. Pretty. Tall. Blue eyes and blonde hair. But damn if I came across this.... a Barbie who looked like me AND who had MY “weird” interests, who didn't fit the mold, and still showed up every day?
I might not be the blondest or tallest Barbie, but I’m definitely the happiest, fiercest, and most appreciative of my skills and accessories! (specially MY Ken Tom Bilyeu) ✨
