Bandit's Keep Actual Play

What would you like to see more of here?

Honestly I think you've got a good rhythm going: A mapper session, followed by a few dungeon delves, with mass combat where the dice have suggested it might happen. If anything, I think I'd like to see a little more of the "in town" side of things; I know this is more of a mechanical than a roleplay game, but getting a rundown on how the parties bid on/buy the maps or what kinds of preparations they make in town would be a fun preamble to dungeon delves, and makes the amounts of treasure gotten from the dungeon feel important on the viewer end of things. All of the styles of play are fun, but I don't want you to force them. If the dice suggest an extra dungeon delve by revealing an unexpected lair, do an extra delve. If they suggest an army of goblins, massed combat might be in the cards. When hooks run out, it's time for another mapper expedition! And most importantly, make sure you're having fun! I don't want this series to end because you get burnout!

I really like all your solo play videos, so I vote for all 3. I see them as all part of an ongoing campaign storyline.

This is a tough one, because honestly all three are fantastic and fun, and feel like a good grouping of parts for a cohesive whole. I think I would like to see them all continue, but I wouldn't mind maybe a 4:2:1 split with dungeon:mapping:mass combat. There's also a new suppliment released called Organic Towns; be kinda cool to see some side bar style stuff about the home town as well :P Like updates and such, given the swathes of time that passes. But I get that's probably just me ><

@Dirus-Nex

I would love to see more mapper sessions! Daniel are you planning on making a more user friendly version of the mapper rules? I started my own OD&D session, but I keep finding myself going back to the mapper, maybe it’s ease of doing it or something.

Yes.

The mass combats would be better if it was PvP and a ref

@Bluefoot65

I came here to learn solo play and that is what I am looking for

@SnowmanInHell

I’m most interested in the mapper videos as those are the mechanics I’m most interested in incorporating to other games. The dungeon delves are entertaining, but as I’ve said elsewhere I’m not a fan of the edition you’re using. The large scale battles don’t interest me at all.
