So I'm quitting this channel. I don't even know where to start, i have thousand of subs and i just feel burnout and the viewership is also not that great, i mean editing community as a whole is dying, Compare almost all editor's current views to the peak era 2021-2024ish times, It's very low. Now i would have hoped this was a April fools but too bad, this isn't April nor its a joke. After around 4-5 uploads after this post, i would quit. My more than 60% of the subs i have currently came from 1 singular video and unfortunately that video was unrelated to my content whatsoever, I know I'm quitting before I am hitting my sub goal of 3k, I'm not going completely inactive, but I would still be uploading a edit every 1-4 mnths or so, I will definitely come back when I feel like it. I will be still pretty active in discord and every other things, but not feeling like making so consistent videos for this channel, My upload schedule was already cooked way before, and now it's more. I have came to the point of quitting with barely any views many times before but now it's over, Just few edits between couple of months to keep it active, I might come back later. I will now be posting and will be more active in my second channel where I don't post any edits but if you want to at least sub that channel or would like to watch that kind of content, you can ask in this post's comments, I would say the username. I have been editing for a long time, and if I were to be those cringey skull or trollface editors, i would have hit 100k subs in less than a month but too bad, Actual editors won't get views because cringe edits is the new meta nowadays also, Normal people also can't appreciate edits now because they don't know what it is so they like skull and trollface edits more.
