I’m not sure how the algorithms work, but they still pop up for me. I think it depends upon how often you as an individual click through and watch videos on the subscription. There’s also a whole subscription page I can click on and any new videos are top of that list.

YT algorithm pays attention to what you give your watch time to and hit like on because all it cares about is that you watch as much and long as possible.

Definitely I've had to go to your channel to look for new videos they don't always get promoted. But for video premieres that still works if tick the bell. If someone is doing a live video or stream. Its very strange. What I do see is a dot next to channel if there is some new post. Email notifications are broken. They've made changes to YouTube and Gmail and not all for the better. At least I get less ads in my mail but way more on YouTube.

PSA: I heard YouTube recently changed its algorithm and is not showing videos from subscriptions on homepages or suggesting them to subscribers. I suggest using the subscriptions tab on mobile or desktop (not sure about TV apps) to make sure you don't miss your favorite creators' latest works!
