Have you ever practiced trying to remain “conscious” while falling asleep and succeeding? You’ll be shook for months believe me

And it was never good, each time there was a negative presence, once a cloaked shadow figure was choking me until I collected my thoughts & started telling it that I'm not afraid of it, walk with & am protected by the most High, which is when he let go and vanished. Also stopped sleeping on my back, never happened again since. Once you know what's happening you get annoyed but are no longer afraid, usually occurs when you're around toxic ppl & not protective enough of your energy. SP is proof that we're more than just our body.

The first time I experienced it, I thought it was really happening. My surroundings were my actual bedroom, I had one arm above my head. A shadowy figure ran over to me and held me down, it creepily started to say the alphabet. I couldn’t scream or anything. I thought I was gonna die. Then I woke up - the same exact position I was in. Thank god I never have experienced sleep paralysis like that again, but I have had a few other experiences. Oddly enough I had one where I fell asleep on my belly. Only other times similar to SP experiences I’ve had is where I’d have dreams where I know I need to get out of bed and when I try (or think I’ve gotten up and am still in bed) I can’t get out of bed. Crazy the things sleep and our brains can do.

In my opinion, it’s almost like being on the verge of astral projection. Also, Yoga Nidra is a very good yoga sleep like meditation body scan. I recommend that. But if astral projection is your thing, then you might as well start with that because that’s how it begins. It’s almost like your body is paralyzed.✌🏽☺️♥

Yes, I have. Very terrifying. I haven't in a while though. Been going through a painful spiritual awakening.

Idk if I’ve had real sleep paralysis but I’ve had where I can’t open my eyes can’t make a noise and can’t see or hear anything but Ik I’m awake and I’ve had it when I feel like I’m falling. I’ve learned how to avoid it if ur awake. Fight for ur eyes being open once u beat that they’ll still try to close idc how tired u r u have to get up walk around to wake ur get water drink water or something then slowly try to fall back asleep it’s hard but it’s worth it and don’t panic. If u the whole battle ends up winning js remain calm and wait for it to be over.

⚠T.W ⚠ I haven't had sleep paralysis, but I have had sleep terror, which is.. equally terrifying I don't know because it's the same as sleep paralysis except I can move, and talk, indeed I hallucinate and see things but I am crying and screaming with my mind occupied along a negative aspect of reality that doesn't actually exist. For example, I was asleep but at the same time also awake, I kept telling my family to read some ayat al-nas and ayat al-falaq or else "they" would come and kill us, my family had no clue what I was talking about, and yet I was traumatized, just screaming my lungs away in fear while my body trembled. Sometimes I would have absolutely no memory of what happened, and sometimes I did but the thing is I WAS able to do things unconscious… Which haunts me till this day because what if I ended up mvrd3r!ng someone at that time? Even tho nothing like that happened cuz I didn't get out of bed unless it was to get a family member but it got harder to fall back asleep. Another one is when my mind LITERALLY CONVINCED ME that my mom k*ll3d innocent people in bed, I was crying like "Mom why did you kill them?" My mom was so confused and if it werent for me reducing my screentime, the hallucinations PROBABLY would have gotten way worse. It doesn't happen anymore THANK GOD but it felt so real and it was impossible to break those horrifying episodes.

I would feel an ominous presence in my room, it could not be seen but it exudes dread and fear. I try to move but I can't. My heart starts to beat faster, my chest tightens and I can't breath. I would then default to uttering The "Itiposo Katha" or "The 10 Eipthets of Lord Buddha". It is a great struggle as I would literally have to force the words out of my mouth as my jaws are locked shut. Once I manage to chant the verses, I would be then be rudely jolted back to full wakefulness. This is how I deal with my sleep paralysis. It is no doubt a very unpleasant experience.

Yes but with my eyes closed! Never saw anything obviously but heard voices saying they were going to do bad things to me

I can do it anytime I want to but it’s not my favorite thing to do. It used to be terrifying when it happened every night from my childhood till I became an adult and had a spiritual awakening.
