I'm really going to miss you. I haven't had many opportunities to listen in a while, life stuff, but I wish you the best. You deserve it! Thanks.

No one, and I mean no one, can argue with the fact that you're a man of integrity. Best of luck in all your endeavors sir.

I'm really going to miss you too... I know I'm just one measly listener, and to make matters worse for you, I just cannot afford to pay for any amount of listening. And I totally get that you've got to do what is best for you. I'm not mad at you for taking care of business! You do whatever is best for you! I've been listening to you for many years now, and I remember waaaay back when you only had a few dozen subs! (That was Waaay back before the pandemic!) (Speaking of the pandemic, that has only been a handful of years ago now, & that time, with all the busking troubles it brought you, that alone seems like another lifetime ago, doesn't it?) I remember when we all encouraged you to hang in there & try to figure out a way to make money here on You Tube, bcuz you're just SOOO GOOD ! And you DID! However, it's been a difficult road for you, I know. Especially back then when you were only doing covers & so YT refused to monetize you. All that being said, I would like to tell you that I spend A LOT of time outside tending my garden, (every day) and your original jamms are absolutely my favorite things to listen to out there! The Floyd style jamms you do are really, really, GREAT works of art, and I totally agree, you DO deserve to be paid for those! And if I could, I completely would. You deserve it. If I'm not able to enjoy your jamms anymore, just as I consider myself lucky to have experienced all the great bands of the '70's in person, I'm putting you into that same category. I will just consider myself extremely lucky to have been able to hear your guitar genius for as long as I have so far. You've made my world a better place! Thank You for that!!! I wish you well, and stay safe my friend. ❤️

I think it’s the pre election, election and post election cycle. Current events are very interesting right now . Don’t give up.

Isn't it about the love of the music though and the passion? and not driven by statistics.

I’m sorry my friend. I must say you are one of the most talented musicians I have ever heard. I do love your long Floyd style jams. I have sent many of my friends your videos I do tell them to hit like at least.

My man im gonna go watch some of your vids now to drop the algorithm some hints. You used to pop up in my recommended but then you vanished! Have you thought about streaming on a platform like twitch? I feel like live streaming kinda makes sense for improv artists

I've listened to you for a while now. I can plainly hear you are a talented guitarist. What drives me away from watching more is your negativity. Trust me, I get it. Life sucks. It's really hard to always be positive. When ya start letting that shit slip all the time, though.... it gets old. Talented guitarist or not.

Not sure if blaming your audience is the way to go. Good luck. Hope goes well.

300 views with that many subs is shocking! I don't blame you!

I'm going to cut back on youtube videos for now. I'm finding the extremely low view numbers are not worth the work I'm putting into it. I had my 15 minutes of YT fame in 2022, and that is long gone. I will be doing the live chats once a week on Friday nights. My last live chat upload got 300 views and had about ten people watching it live. (I have 130,000 subs) It's obvious most people don't care about guitar or improv. I will keep doing one shorter video on Monday or Thursday night.
Since my extended 'music' uploads don't get many views, I have decided to move the pure jam videos over to Patreon to a paid level. All my extended studio jams from last 5 years will now be posted there on the $9 a month ‘special access’ tier and every tier above that level. That means NO ADS. No copyrights. I may even start posting ENTIRE busking shows up there from the last 3 years so you can see the whole show in ONE video. There is no way I can catch up to my busking or studio backlog with youtube alone.

If you enjoy improv, music therapy and my instrumentals please go to patreon and sign up there to get access to the REAL music. Bandcamp will continue with all my audio jams and the next bandcamp Friday is Dec 6. You can support there as well!
Unfortunately, Youtube has become the land of 'outrage and negativity' and I am not going in that direction, so that means I don't get any views. 99% of my videos are pure music, but most people do not ever see them and then complain to me that all I do is post negative videos. HINT! That's because they get promoted to you by youtube.
