I interned at 20+ companies during college, Micromax Informatics Ltd, OYO etc - That’s the reason I built 4 multi-million $ businesses and not a job!
I wasn’t from a privileged family. We’ve had phases where even food and education were luxuries. I still remember the night a lender came home screaming at my parents for unpaid dues.
That was the night I decided: I’ll change how my family lives.
In the first year of college itself, I realized a 3.25 LPA placement wasn’t for me. So I started interning, not for a stipend, or a job.
But to learn how the world works.
I worked across sales, marketing, tech, events, every department I could squeeze myself into.
But I had one rule: Build a connect with the CEO/HoD.
I used to ask questions, show up early, and observe how leaders thought. I was studying psychology, communication, power, through my own experience.
That curiosity gave me what no college ever could:
→ The confidence to reject placements
→ The skills to earn online
→ The perspective to spot real problems
→ The clarity to build 4 income-generating businesses (dropshipping, clothing, agency, education)
And now, I’ve gone full circle. I teach others how to build businesses, profitably, practically, without the fluff.
So no, interning with 20 companies wasn’t a waste. It was the best MBA I never paid for.
And it changed my life.
PS - Want to learn more about businesses? I’ve shared about the best internet businesses you can start in 2025 in this video, sharing the link in the comments below :)
