Being an Arizona resident its always bugged the hell out of me that the destruction of mines is the preferred way to handle them when they’re discovered, I always wondered why there weren’t efforts to explore them for artifacts and record their contents for posterity at least before they closed them forever. What you do on this channel preserves another time and world that many will never get to experience themselves. Hope you’ll swing by the Tucson area and show us some of the cool stuff around me lol

Exploring Abandoned Mines and Unusual Places
Here are a few pictures showing underground footage from the Queen Mine that I explored yesterday with Jeff from OTG Exploring (@otgexploring). Click the images to see the entire shot. Much to our surprise, we discovered that the Queen Mine connects underground to two other nearby abandoned mines! We spent seven hours underground in this one making our way through each mine. There’s still a lot more to explore and see in this one, so I’m sure we’ll return. Videos of the Queen Mine and more are coming soon!
