First week working with a new client, I get a call.

Apparently they have logged into Google Ads, saw an optimization score that was not 100% and straightaway assume nothing’s being done.

To them, that number means bad management!

Here’s the truth.

The optimization score isn’t proof of whether ads are working or not.

It’s simply Google’s checklist of suggestions on how you should run your ads. Some tips are useful but others are not.

If you want to learn the ins and outs about this score, keep a look out for my latest video where I break down what the Google Ads Optimization Score really is, where you can find this score, how Google actually calculates the percentage, and why chasing 100% doesn’t guarantee more sales.

I’ll also show you when it’s worth paying attention to, and when you can safely ignore it.

Video dropping later this week. Any questions about the score, drop it in the comments below.
