Nano texture is only a commercial name. Technically it's called Chemical etching glass. Since chemical reaction is molecular level,thus its texture is nano size. Many products already use this kind of glass, though they haven't created such commercial name like Apple. It's only a marketing gimmick like Retina display, XDR display...

And I mean the matte textures scratches like plastic, which makes sense, if it was really glass the Apple Pencil tip wouldn’t survive long

Got the OLED. Thinking if i should switch to the nano texture. I think it’s a better use for traveling instead of bringing a MacBook.

Seconds after I looked at the nano-texture glass on the M4 iPad Pro... Wait a minute, isn't it the same surface found on pen displays, and even comes "free" with some tablets?
E.g. Huawei PaperMatte, XPPen Magic Drawing Pad, LincStudio S1, Huion Kamvas Studio 16?
