Hey everyone, I need your help! I already reached out to Saturn Dave to give me some advice, but I figure I'll ask the rest of the community too. Long story short, I am currently running two companies out of my home, and so I've had to put the vast majority of my gaming collection in storage for safe keeping. That means I need alternatives to the original systems and games to tackle certain systems. I know years back there were several prototypes going around for the Saturn that allows you to play ROM dumps directly on original hardware. Did anyone make progress on these? I don't want to just emulate the games on the computer, that's boring. I would like to stay as close to the originals as possible if I can. I'm looking to see what creative solutions the community has come up with because the Saturn is starting to get up there in age and those CD-drive won't last forever.
I did have a Polymega that I was in a beta program with, and I uploaded almost my entire collection to that thing...and then when the final units were available the company never shipped me my system. So...that's out. Anyways if anyone has any suggestions or angles I should look into, please let me know. While I know most of you want to see Saturn coverage, I'm looking for solutions for the SEGA CD, and PS1 as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
