It was so good. Wasn't expecting it to be as graphic as it was, but I'm glad they made it rated R.

I cried a couple times during this. It’s made it into my list of movies that align with core themes that represent what I love. The core theme this one got was “battle-tested love”, as I am a sucker for when we show love across the biggest divides despite everything pushing you to the contrary. A couple other notes: I would love to follow your movie recs because I trusted your judgment and was so glad that I did! Also, the theater is also my safe and happy place—a place for undivided attention and immersion. Thank you so much for getting me to give this a try! 🙌

I didnt expect it to break me the way it did. Made you fall in love with most of that cast too so it just hurts so much worse

Squeek! I just discovered your channel, and the number of overlaps between my interests was already amazing; but now you're sending me to The Long Walk! This is the best day of my parasocial life.

I almost cried towards the end, just a great film. Love the characters and world building without having to show to much but by the environments seen while walking and the conversations that were had during the walk. Fantastic film

Having read the book a while back (which I highly recommend), I knew exactly what I was getting into. I was happy that it was a faithful adaptation, despite the extremely depressing subject matter.

Dine in cinemas are my absolute favourite. I will watch a minimum of two movies but often three or four. I only get to go to the cinema once a year so I make a whole day out of it haha.

I relate to this so much. My mother also created a little movie buff to the point where I put a home theater in the living room with the full 3D experience. I know I’ve crossed the line from buff to nerd 😂 Stephen King’s been knocking em out the park for some time

I am exactly like you with movies. Theaters and seeing movies is my happiest place I have loved it since I was a kid and see crazy amounts of movies in the theater if I can I read the Long Walk decades ago when the Richard Bachman book first came out with his 4 novella short stories It was a phenomenal story and I can't wait to see it come to life finally

Thank you for sharing, I loved every bit of the movie, thought provoking and captivating, my eyes were glued except the gore scenes I couldn’t get myself to watch it.

Loved the symbolisms within, there where so many ways to interpret it, but I felt the Vietnam 60’s era pointless of violence seeping through from the first death to the last all held significant points about their individual struggles, definitely a rewatch in the future!

I really enjoyed it too! Haven't watched an 18+ movie in a while, so having me and my fiance's ID checked before entry was funny. Really well done movie and I loved the acting. Joshua Odjick is the first nations actor, and I hope he gets for Hollywood gigs

I love film.
Im one of those people who go to the movie theater maybe once or thrice a month if I can.
Yes, unironically, I fear.
One of my favorite kid memories was my mom taking me out of school once to go to the dollar theater in the middle of the day and I’m sure that feeling of excitement, secret missions, adventure and mischief while dipping into a new world for just a little bit influenced my love today.
For years every place I lived as an adult— I made sure to have a movie theater in walking distance.
It’s one of my happy places.
So after a rough week, I was yearning for the cinema and went in this blind.
It was one of the best movies I have seen in a long while.
Cannot recommend enough. Brace yourself.✨
