It was great, not too much action, I'm waiting until the matches to see if the animation really improved or not. But the designs, shading, shadows on characters looked really darn good. And the voice acting was on point, 8/10 episode for me, they said they put extra time and work in the U-20 match so I'm hyped up

Usually the opening episode to a season is animated better so I’m waiting for the next few eps to see how it really looks. Looks fine though so far.

The opening sequence looked pretty good, Sae’s dribble had actual movement so here’s hoping the trailer was just bad. The art style goes hard and the additional time segment was really funny I’m just happy to see Blue Lock being back

I actually like it. I was expecting worse after seeing the trailer. If they could keep up the quality than we have the best anime of this season 🔒

Watched it and I knew that Blue Lock wouldn’t fail me. I’ll save my full thoughts for the next episode when they actually have a match but yeah things are looking good so far. Some of the most beautiful animation that’s super fitting for the art style, pacing seemed great (3 chapters in one episode), and the only thing that had me a bit skeptical was the short duel between Rin and Sae.
