Happy 10th anniversary to Splatoon, the game series that ruined my life!
....ruined my life but in the good way<3 ive met several of my closest friends, and have had so many experiences i wouldnt have otherwise had all because of this game. here's to many years more of squid insanity. squidsanity. what's your favorite splatoon memory?

looking back on these past 10 years, one of my favorite splatoon moments has got to be going to Haicalive Kyoto Mix in 2019. yup. i got to see the squid sisters and off the hook in person. [image 2: photo i took just before the concert began. there was a strict no photography rule once the concert started]
i say im not crazy for the splatoon idols and yet. i was jumping to now or never. singing along to the gibberish. one of the most fun hours of my life. im sorry to flex on all the idol fans like this. *5 dozen idol fans surround me and start beating me with hammers*

[OBLIGATORY CHANNEL UPDATE] i wanted to have my next video done and out by the anniversary, but the script just kept getting longer. and longer. whoops. well the script is like 97% done and I started recording the audio today, so new video ACTUALLY coming soon i prommy. its a good topic.

Splatoon is the best thing that happened to me <33 My fave memory was definitely the grand festival experience! Team present may have lost but seeing all the idols perform together was insane ;3

Splatoon has been such an unreal experience. Diving into a new game to adore, obsessing over lore, discovering creators, and falling in love with every aspect of it has legit been life changing. Like, this funny squid game and the community surrounding it have helped me through a lot in so many ways. Aside from all the ridiculously fun or funny moments playing with friends the most memorable events were probably learning my synesthesia interacts with a few of the ink colors, and experiencing the Octavio fight for the first time. Like, hearing the Inkantation for the first time was wild. This game has irrevocably altered my life as well as my music taste. It’s changed so much for so many. Happy 10th to the best shooter of 2015 winner lmao

Splatoon is definitely an important thing for me, as it was my first glimpse into the world outside the conservative Christian echo chamber I was in. It was the first step in me getting out of it, and learning who I was

This game genuinely changed my life. Splatoon has some of the coolest lore of any video game I've played and it's no secret that I've spent years of my life studying it, I honestly don't know where I would be without this game

My favorite splatoon memory was pretty recent since I actually haven't spent a lot of time online with it, at least compared to how long it's existed. It was spending my last few hours in (official) splatoon 1 online last year. It felt like there was a real moment of peace and unity that day, squid partying for 2 hours straight and seeing people online sharing their memories and art and watching people keep going past the shutdown time, it was really fun despite the sad ocassion

That new art is so good, if only the background was dark, since it would make a good wallpaper like final fest

I learned about the franchise and got into it with the release of Splatoon 3, but sometimes it feels like I'm always at the tail end of things where they get worse, like how my experience and a large portion of fan's experiences were with this game. I feel kinda like the grim reaper the way my appearance results in things ending but still, the energy of all the older splatoon fans and beloved characters and astounding world design brought me in so close. I wish I was here from the start sometimes.

My favorite Splatoon memory is my dad letting me preorder the first game and picking it up for me! One of the best of my life!

Splatoon really has changed our lives forever and I'm so happy on it's impact in our lifetime. Nogami with the help from Nintendo truly did the impossible which was a beautiful blessing. Happy 10th Anniversary Splatoon, Thank You For Everything!

@dreamwalking

I bought Splatoon 3 recently, in no small part due to this channel, excited to finally try the franchise that I enjoy the lore of so much. Appreciate you, Rassicas. That said, it turns out that you have to subscribe to something called "Nintendo Online" in order to actually play the base game, so I'll probably be returning it. Having to pay monthly money to play a game I paid for is not something I'm going to be doing.
