He is just a baby who doesn't realize the damage he can do. Believe me, if a cat is REALLY angry and REALLY wants to cause serious damage, he can do that. There was a situation which ended in hospital... The kitty thought he was in self-defence, but he didn't want to kill. This is why he damaged tendons and nerves of hands, but didn't touch arteries. Though all cats can - they sense where the blood runs and can kill in one quick move in a second.
