HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY WIFEEE KAGAMINE RIN (DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED BY OTHER OPINIONS OR HAVE A FIXED-MINDSET AND CAN'T HANDLE DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES!!!)
I think this is probably just gonna be an annual thing now every December 27th, but yes HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KAGAMINE RIN!!! KAGAMINE RIN is my ABSOLUTE favorite character in all of fiction (and nonfiction), again it is NOT mizuki though she is BY FAR my second. Rin is my #1 by far. Rin has been my favorite character for several years now and has influenced my life the most. To be honest, I wouldn't behave or play the same things if not for her. In fact, it's a lot deeper than that. As cringe as it sounds (hence the warning), I had a very depressive period in my time back in elementary school where I honestly hated myself so much and had "thoughts" related to self-harm. However, listening to her music, fangirling over her, and buying merch of her to hug her all day got me through each day. It was because of her that I got invested into an anime (though she TECHNICALLY isn't an anime character), and kind of indirectly got me into Geometry Dash (and Project Sekai obviously which is my favorite game). One day I had a dream about her and as corny as it sounds, it inspired me to like idk become a better version of myself to say the least. Or, well a better version of myself in MY mind. I stopped caring about what other people thought and started looking at thinks more competitively with a positive mindset. I've become a lot more social (before I think I'd only talk to 1 or 2 people mainly but now I'm open and can talk to pretty much anyone online and I'm not that shy to talk irl). I don't care if anyone finds it weird that I obsess over a character this much because she is THE reason why I am the person I am today. I hate when people say "Oh, you still like this character?" or "Why do you still like her?" or "What's so good about her?" or "It's weird to be attached to a fiction charcter" or "She's 14". IT PISSES ME THE FUCK OFF. I'm not about to just stop liking her when she is literally THE catalyst of how my life is right now. I value her over anyone else so like idk what to say that's not just gonna change over the span of a single year or whatever. genuinely if you make fun of me for liking her do not fucking interact with me. ALSO you can't even say that I'm a loser or something irl. I exercise, I've constantly maintained class rank #1, I've won awards in Mathematics and Computer Science BY NASA, I play instruments, I program, etc. In no way can you call me a loser just because the thing that changed my life is a fictional character. That's just coping and/or projecting. Get over it. We all have something special that keeps us going, whether it be our parents, our partners, music, gaming, friends, school, and it just so happens that what kept me going was her so yeah. I love kagamine rin and that's the end of it. I don't care if you think it's weird. If you're fine with it then <3 BUT YEAH HAPPY BIRTHDAY RINRIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALSO 24 hour stream VERY SOON it's going to be today
