10 years ago OTD, a localized tornado outbreak produced several strong tornadoes in northern Illinois. I was on the storm that produced an EF2 which struck the Woodhaven Lakes campground near Sublette, followed by an EF1 in Mendota. Due to heavy rain-wrapping I did not have a good view of the tornadoes.
