Arknights gameplay especially towards the beginning is REALLY fun. You get a similar experience to when you first started PTN gameplay wise. Story is more on the slow end and there's no voice acting so I've never read it but I've heard many good things about it. HI3...I don't know if it's a good time to play now but, I guess if you like Cyrene it can be an option as well.

I will say to play HI3 only for story purposes, then it's a great game. Not played enough arknights though, can't say much about it.

as someone who played both i think it depends on what you are looking for, hi3rd is okayish game but i wouldnt reccommend playing it now, the meta changes way too much and you will feel it (even if you arent a meta slave) it also isnt most f2p friendly, the story is actually very good tho, one of the best from hoyo, so imo it would just be way better to watch the story somewhere, arknights is actually a very good game even now, r1999 actually took some inspiration from it so im very sure you will like it, its actually very f2p friendly and the character designs are AMAZING, the story is amazing too, but its a bit long if you dont mind it, overall the choice is yours, although i would personally choose arknights

I Do Play Card Type Games, Mainly Reverse 99 Nowadays.. I'mma Be Fr , Ark Knight's Story Is Pretty Good But The Presentation Is Kinda Dogshit ( If You're Playing For Story ) And I Think It's Not Worth It Cuz Ark Endfield Will Release Soon.. Imo Play Hi3 Cuz Hi3 Part 1 Is Great ( Again Personal Opinion Don't Jump At Me )
