I always thought the cartridge slot on back of the Saturn not being used for Genesis and 32X game carts was a hugely missed opportunity. Could you imagine a Saturn that could play both Sega CD and Saturn CDs and both Genesis and 32X cartridge games?!

Must be the Dvizix shell. Hopefully they'll be able to produce a run of ABS shells instead of the current 3d printed option. Well designed model and retains CD support.

So glad see you do a video on this, despite the case itself being expensive to print. I want Retro Game Restore to make these more affordable.

If this could be made as a clone console, then time for the 32X Homebrew scene!!

Hell yeah, this is the type of stuff I dreamed people would make back 10 years ago. We've come a long way since then.

Oh I remember seeing a picture of that console on a magazine back in the day, just wondering what was that haha

If this custom console still had the expansion slot on the side to connect to the sega cd I would definitely be interested.

It'd be amazing if there were a 32X "mode" switcher to allow for still playing master system games

I likes the Compcades using RetroFE. I mean this is amazing, but nothing beats working with wood and making a basic cabinet, then soldering the joystick and buttons to a keyboard and using even just a Rasberry Pi with Window IOT or A Linux distro, then plopping a TB of roms on to that thinger and playing sega standing up with a ciggy and beer in hand

@SEGA never released their “Neptune” concept which was announced back in 1995. So a few folks in the retro modding community wanted to change that. Video coming soon!
