Is there a hobby or a passion that you’ve lost touch with? Something you could maybe get back in touch with?

Something to think about this week!

Wishing you a happy and healthy week ahead❤️

I was never happy in my work life, tried various careers that those analysis tests said would match my personalty to no avail. After I recovered from an illness when I turned 50 I asked myself that very question..."what was my passion before life got in the way?" The answer was animals...I started my own dog walking and pet sitting business and haven't looked back, 10 years on and still going strong...so rewarding!

I used to spend hours down in this old shed we used to have in the countryside cutting pieces of wood, making little things, painting, I used to love that

I turned my hobby into my career, I'm an artist and I teach watercolour painting, anything that switches on the creative side of your brain is good to make hours flash by, though I now find it hard to make time to just do work for me, between teaching, making content for my you tube channel, commissions and looking after a family I have to force myself to make time to create just for me.

I stayed outside all the time…grew up on the lake…stayed on that boat dock! And at 42 it’s all I want to do!

I used to trace my hand and draw picture of it with different rings and watches and different colors of nail polish for fun. Drawing, writing, coloring, playing make believe. Riding my bike, swimming, running around my cousin’s ranch.

My most beautiful memories were learning carnatic music with my sisters and friends at home. We had a long spacious verandah at home. The teacher will come to my house once a week to teach for about ten of us. So happy feeling. Mum sisters and me will sing and practice daily. We go for group competitions and singing in other temples in diffrent states. Great experience. ❤ Now memories and happy listening and singing alone. .
