WATCH LIVE: Keith Nester was a Protestant pastor for 20+ years—until one verse changed everything.

When he heard Jesus say, “This is my body,” he realized it wasn’t symbolic. That truth cost him his ministry, his income—and nearly his marriage.

But it led him home.

Now, Keith helps others rediscover the Church, reignite their faith, and follow Christ—no matter the cost.

@ShoeMan777

Ive been Protestant my whole life but recently I’ve been talking to a Catholic friend and there are things that seem so good about the Catholic Church, and then there are things that seem harder to believe. I don’t know. I’ve prayed for clarity on things but things are still so unclear. I wish i would have a big revelation from the Holy Spirit that would definitively lead me in the right direction. I just don’t wanna get it wrong. Please pray for me! 🙏 God bless you for reading this whole thing

This was amazing. I have been feeling Catholicism pulling me in as a protestant Christian. Thank you I have binge watched a bunch of your videos recently. We are thinking about going to a Catholic Church on Sunday.

@Emmannie

His sermon on the Virgin Mary (which he says completely changed his mind about her) is terrific! It's easy to see why: he's describing biblical truths about her that Catholics have always believed, and I'm glad he saw the Truth and it led him and, later his wife, Home.

"Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.” Why would the disciples think the bread is Jesus' body, when Jesus' actual, physical UNBROKEN body was right there in front of them? Makes no sense. Jesus is clearly using a metaphor.

On the cross Jesus hid his divinity In the Eucharist Jesus hides his humanity and divinity

I'm also trying to understand this. Is Jesus then actually a vine, actually a gate? Why are these things taken symbolically but not when he talking about the bread and cup?

@JesusfoundedCatholicChurch

I followed Keith beginning when I started RCIA. The verse that I heard that told me I had to become Catholic was 1 Timothy 3:15. "The Church is the pillar and bulwark of truth". My church and I believe every Protestant church believes it means "the Bible is the pillar and bulwark of truth" I had done some research on the Catholic Church many years ago during the mid 1970s. I lived in Birmingham AL and would drive around the local monastery because it gave me peace. At that time, I didn't know of Mother Angelica and she was in that monastery. I bought some books on Catholicism but I couldn't get past the Mass. I should have spoken to a priest then and asked him about my objections. I let my understanding overrule God's understanding. I was never viciously anti-Catholic as I see on Lila's channel or Facebook page, but I accepted that I could never become Catholic. Until I had to from studying. Keith is awesome. He posted one of his last sermons he did in the Methodist church before he left. It was on Mary. I loved it!

The WORD (his Rhema) is the body of Christ that we it's not the bread someone bakes, God doesn't condone let alone command cannibalism.

@soteriology400

This ties to the Jewish Passover. The bread was not literally His body.

Question, so when JESUS says this is MY Body, was JESUS holding JESUS, some logical thinking goes a long way, huh? John 16-25 was JESUS talking in figurative language?

@Skeltrigon

The same “church” that says Mary was sinless and hears prayers.

Symbolic or not was never the question. Category error. Jesus said his words are spirit and life. The last supper was a sermon that gives life. If you heard it and still find yourself analyzing the bread on the table, then your spirit doesn’t know how to eat.

@babylonsfall7

“This is my body”, He did say, but Jesus’ body was in the chair, holding the bread even. He didn’t flinch as He broke the bread because His body wasn’t literally being broken. Duh!
