Thats a cute little 4 cylinder engine. I figured the 1985 Deutz Allis mower I was working on was old xD. Id love to see it running in the future.

That is pretty awesome! I know my garden tractor, which is a Troy Bilt TB2654 from around 2015, has a 26 horsepower Kohler Courage V-twin (I believe) engine powering it. The 54" cutting deck does make it quite a beast with cutting grass.

I've been more into old engines as of the last few years and I've wanted one of these for years! It's a Kohler model D "electric plant" from 1929. A tiny 4 cylinder engine that generates 110v DC. These were used on farms and in small towns before most Americans had grid power. All you had to do with flip a light switch on and the plant would crank up automatically. All done with relays and 2 starting batteries.
This one was stuck when I picked it up but after a week, I've freed it up. It will take some cleaning and checking things but I'll be excited to hear it run! Lots of these on YouTube if you're curious to hear one running.
