I'm a Christian Orthodox, but I have some mainly philosophical questions: 1) Do you think the God of the Old Testament is the same as the God in the New Testament? (Asking because Jesus taught that The Father is all-loving and all-forgiving and that we should always forgive and love others, while Yahweh punished the Egyptians harshly and taught to always seek revenge and have the "an eye for an eye" mentality) 2) What happened to those who lived before Christ? Based on what will they be judged? (I have an explanation in mind, that Jesus Christ preached to the Dead before His Resurrection and John the Baptist baptised people while Jesus Christ was on Earth, but I don't know if that answer is accurate or not) And also one lighter question: 3) What is your favorite book in the Bible? (Mine are John and Revalation) To make things clear, I'm a baptised Orthodox Christian, a follower and servant of Christ, who is my Lord and Savior. I just asked these 2 first questions because they were topics that didn't quite sit right with me and I would be glad if you gave me your opinion on them!
