It's actually a really good slice of life under all the bdsm stuff, I really enjoyed the characters and seeing them grow throughout the series. We get to see Utena go from this shy lonely girl to having more confidence and building strong friendships, Azure one of the magical girls gets her weakness exposed and fills with self doubt only for it to become a great strength to her by the end, there's found family themes in here too and more. Can't wait for season 2.

Despite the massive amounts of ecchi and comedy the series has. It's backed by a pretty interesting plot revolving around what their end goals are and if there's any point to the conflict. Characters get their development and relationships are formed or even repaired by the over the top measures taken. At the end of the day they enjoy the little bit of chaos that usually ends with no real harm aside from some property damage that's usually fixed by the next fight.

I will actually defend this one for being more than smut. Like it's that, gleefully, but also a pretty decent Yuri series running under it as well. Utena is a menace but hey at least Kiwi and her are something.

I'm not sure if someone already brought it up in one of the posts. Or if it may considerably cross a line. Idea: The scene is from the intro episode to Alice's Dollhouse ability, and the main heroine trio is in the house. Then, use the audio clip from Family Guy, where Stewie says, "Oh, we're playing house." "Roman Polanksky's house." I don't remember who he is, I just think there would be more fitting audio from Family Guy that may fit here.
