Chucky doesnt get scary till she notices he doesnt have battery's then the whole movies tone shifts from mysterious to downright wtf, Texas chainsaw massacre is prolly the most scariest golden age horror movie youll see the amount of holy shit moments is crazy, scream isnt scary it just builds suspense to who the killer is which is more interesting than scary, the first Freddy movie was scary bc hes a child predator/killer that can invade your dreams and kill u both in yur dream and real life but yea TCM takes the cake
