Also, anybody who hasn't seen that Minuteman dude is uhh lame and a tool has been blind for years. Never liked that dude he's obviously a sheep. Has no real opinions just repeats talking points he's seen/heard from someone else. Dudes always been lame don't give him much credit. Can't fix stupid.

There's many like him, professor Dave for example. He acts so superior because he can dunk on flat earthers etc and then feels the need to insult them, this is way more mass marketable because by insulting and being rude it's immediately more algorithmically optimal and most lay people with an interest in science also like to think they are superior rational minds to the dumb conspiracy theorists so they love this divisive rhetoric for that reason it seems. Anyone who challenges consensus must be ridiculed and shat on immediately rather than engaged with in a reasonable mature way. Obviously that wouldn't go viral and inflate their and their audience's egos.

Milo Rossi aka Miniminuteman has been talking about being a science communicator quite a bit lately, but he consistently chooses better short term performance from his videos, which usually means insults and all encompassing statements. When I uploaded this, he reached out to tell me it was inspirational to him... now he does the very thing I call out in this video.
