Hey everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to thank every single one of you who tunes in to my videos regularly and leaves nothing but positivity. It genuinely means the world to me. Seeing so many of you interact in a polite, civilized, and supportive way is honestly one of the best parts of making content.
I’m currently working on multiple long-form videos for the channel, and once I get more comfortable with that style, I’ll be releasing them more regularly. That includes more tutorials, reviews, tips, tricks, and collections of the best models I can find.
I was recently approved for YouTube Memberships, so I wanted to explore that a little and let you know what to expect. For now, there are two tiers:
$0.99 per month
$4.99 per month
YouTube allows members to use custom emojis, so I uploaded a few to test things out. Members will also get a badge next to their name.
Now, this part is very important: All current and future tiers will include everything from the lowest tier. And the lowest tier gives you no extra content or advantages, only emojis and badges. There is no way for me to make emojis available to everyone. It is handled automatically by YouTube.
I cannot stress this enough: Apart from emojis and badges, Memberships will not give you any exclusive videos, paywalled content, early access, or anything like that. I am not locking knowledge or entertainment behind money. I do not believe anyone should be cut off from learning or enjoying this hobby because of financial circumstances.
So why create memberships at all? Honestly, I would be stupid not to try. Even though I get a few brand deals here and there and occasionally receive printers or filament, I finance most of my content myself. That is why I set the lowest tier at just $0.99, for anyone who enjoys what I do and simply wants to support it.
If you can afford it without any negative impact on your life and want to show some support, I will be incredibly grateful. If even $1 a month would put you in a tight spot, please do not join. Nothing will ever be locked away from you.
Lastly, I am also working on a Discord server where we can all hang out, share tips, show off setups or prints, or just chat casually. Let me know if that is something you would like to be part of. And of course, the Discord will be free for everyone.
Thank you all again for being such an amazing community. ❤️
